The Learning Library

In order to make our activities and challenges way more user-generated and interactive, we are currently updating the Tec-Treks, our educational framework. For this endeavor, we have developed a unique learning application called The Learning Library (LL) in collaboration with Project New Media literacies, a program originating from MIT, now housed at USC - http://www.newmedialiteracies.org. The LL is a tool to help students and educators understand the emerging skills required for a media-rich learning environment. It's still in alpha stages (meaning its not quite done yet!), but see below for a sneak peek. The current Learning Library application was funded by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation as part of their Digital Media and Learning Initiative.
